Fall 2016 is the season of rich texture. From leathers to velvet to suede, adding pieces in one of these luxe fabrics is an easy way to update our fall wardrobes. I’ve already found one of my go-to pieces of the season in a drapey faux suede vest from Christopher & Banks. Furthermore, I’m really excited to be hosting a Girls Night Out at my local Christopher & Banks this Thursday (details on Girls Night Out) to explore all the other affordable, luxe-looking pieces.
What I’m wearing:
Vest (c/o Christopher & banks) | Racerback tank | White ankle pants (my review of these)
Leopard pumps (on sale) | Ear climbers | Necklace (c/o)
I love this faux suede vest so much that it’s already on repeat (see the last look here). Since St. Louis is serving some 9o degree temps this week, I’m combining the faux suede vest with summery whites for perfect transitional style. And, the color combination? Magical!
I added my leopard pumps to jazz up the neutrals. Of course, leopard everything is hot for fall, and this pair of pumps is on mega sale.
As a proud Kittitian, I’m screaming, “Happy Independence Day, St. Kitts & Nevis!” 33 years ago today, my home country won its freedom from Britain. I was in primary school on September 19th, 1983, and I still remember the huge celebration that followed the first announcement of our independence.
So, today, I’m waving the St. Kitts & Nevis flag in celebration of freedom.
