I recently got hip to the Nally & Millie line and was immediately attracted to the figure-flattering styles and color options of the company’s new spring collection. Nally & Millie is a California-based clothing line that is most popular for its flowy, draped tops, and dresses, which are all manufactured entirely in the United States.
I received a sample top from the current spring collection. It is a one size fits all, lavender, lightweight, double-layer knit top with very hip dolman sleeves. I have wanted a top like this for quite some time now, so I knew exactly how I wanted to wear it.
Here’s how my Nally & Millie top creates the perfect casual chic outfit.
This look is quite versatile. It is comfortable enough for running errands on Saturday morning. It is chic enough to wear to brunch at your favorite quaint restaurant or for drinks at your favorite happy hour spot. If you have travel plans, the look will quickly and fabulously get you through any TSA line.
Tops in the collection retail from $44 to $96. For more information about Nally & Millie, visit http://nallyandmillie.com/
Disclosure: As usual, all the ideas and opinions expressed are my own. No monetary compensation was received for doing this post. I did, however, receive a free top from the Nally & Millie line.
I wish I could look that good. I have a top like that. Not good on me.
What a gorgeous top! So versatile like you said. I love it.
Very nice with the leggings. So good to see your face : )
OMG, your hair is super cute. I have been thinking of cutting my hair too and I think you just inspired me.
Love the outfit.
That top is *awesome*. That is all I have to say about that.

I love this top! Its so pretty and comfy at the same time. I liked the different ways you accessorized it, too.
I hope you do more pics in which we can see your face! I loved seeing a whole "look!"
@Judy C: I am sorry your top hasn't worked out for you. I say, keep trying more styles. I have tried a few of these that I was not fond of. Also, I was surprised to see that this top looks equally good with trousers. So, there are other styling options.
@Andi: Isn't it though? It is so comfortable to wear too.
@Sing: Thanks! A rare face sighting! Ha.
@Anonymous: Wonderful! You know, I debated wearing a low tapered fro for a while. I finally took the plunge because I needed a hairdo that would suit my workout/work schedule. This was it!
@Taylor: I heard that! I am so glad to now know Nally & Millie.
@Budget Chic: Aww thanks! The company's reps gave me some color choices and I was really moved by this purple when I saw it.
@Annie: I know, right? I am going to need a back up top 🙂
@Phuong: You would especially appreciate this top for your travels!
@Shasie: Thanks! Yeah, this top beautifully flows over the stomach.
@Liz B: The top does provide a nice canvas for accessorizing. I will seriously consider showing full shots more…
I have worn my top 3 or 4 times and it is pilling very badly. Considering that I paid more for this top than usual, I am really disappointed with it. What options are there for me? I don't have the receipt, bought it at Bloomie's several months ago.
Oh no…I'm so sorry to hear that. Pilling is so awful. If you plan to keep it, a fabric shaver may help a bit.
Bloomies, though, has a generous return policy (I believe you can return anything anytime for any reason). If you can't find your receipt but paid with a card, a store associate should be able to look up your purchase. If they can't, you have the option of receiving store credit for the current selling price of the item.
Good luck!
