Watch List: Soft and Slouchy

Welcome fall! This season I am drawn to the figure-flattering sweater dresses and the cardigans paired with full or A-line skirts. So, I’ve been searching for the perfect accompaniments to these favorite fall looks. Here are a couple items that I am watching and wanting.

For those of us who rely on our supersized handbags to carry the daily essentials, the thought of downsizing to a chic and handy clutch is frightening. But, this oversized vintage leather clutch with softly ruched pleats has space to spare.

Soft slouchy footwear is all the rage this fall. With textured leather, subtle slouches, and a daring wine color, this slip-on boot is absolutely “flawless.”

For the lowest prices I’ve found:

Clutch—Hobo International via Piperlime
Boots—Jeffrey Campbell via SoleStruck

I feel slouchy in slouchy boots and I am a big bag gal. So, as pretty as these are I am going to have to pass on these trends.

I like everything here, I saw a clutch similar to the one you posted that I plan on getting and I had a pair of boots like that in the 80s when I was in my twenties LOL – its weird to see things come back in fashion, when you were there during its original conception.

I love the clutch, but only for evening. During the day it’s all oversized bags and nothing else. The boots are perfect shape, but I think if they were brown they would get much more wear. The color would be perfect if they were shoe-boots, though!

Seeker: Right! I think they are fabulous.

Torrance: I am doing well. And, yes I am all about ideas, clothes and the other ‘stuff.’

Enc: They will surely be setting up residence in my closet soon 馃檪

Siljesfashion: They are such beauties! It was love at first sight.

La Belette Rouge: Hahaha. I am the opposite. The great thing about the slouchy boots being a big trend now is the increased choices. I’ve been searching for a non-suede pair for over a year.

Penny Pinching Princess: So true. That is why I am so drawn to that color as bold as it is.

    Secretista: Thanks for stopping by!

Savvy Mode: I will have to check those out. And, is it too much to ask for a clutch that can hold more than a credit card? I am so happy that these larger clutches are everywhere.

Budget Chic: It goes round and round and round. And, some things we don’t want to come back 馃檪

Lopi. Ha. I will surely rock that bag in the day! The boots actually come in brown and a tan as well. I must say, I believe I will get much more wear out of the red.

Couture Carrie: The pleats are so pretty.

Imelda: Lol. I wish! I sure did not say cheap–“lowest price available.”

    Fresh & Fab: Thank ya!

Fly Tie: I haven't either. But, I've always wanted a pair. I've had difficulty finding a non-suede pair in the past.

Anonymous: Ah, me neither! The tailored pumps paired with sweater dresses look fabulous.
