So universal. Those of us that are bottom-heavy know that an A-line skirt is a flattering skirt choice. This herringbone A-line skirt, a BR end-of-season steal, is one of my favorites because of its shape and all season texture.
Right now, I can pair it with a short-sleeve cable knit sweater and throw on some two-tone pumps.

As the temperatures fall, here are some alternative looks.
That is a great skirt! And you are right, very versatile. How long ago did you find that steal? I may have to go over to Banana!
Love that yellow cardigan!
Dorchester’s Daughter: Yes, indeed. I got it way back in January 2008. BR currently has a very similar style in store at full price. So, we have to watch for markdowns.
Juvenescent: It is a great color. I wear it so much!
gotta love versatile garments. nice styling in all 3 pics.
Great skirt I have a similar one from BR that I found last season. Now I have some new ideas for outfits.

That skirt is your best friend, clearly. It’s wonderful with all those tops, and it’ll last you a lifetime.
It’s interesting to see how your palette gets more muted as the seasons change but you always keep some colour so it’s never boring. Great skirt!
So So Chic! Love every look worn with this skirt!!!
I love every option!
I love A lines 🙂
They look really smart, chic and elegant

I love the hint of pink in the pic on the far right. Very cute. =)
Oooooh, nice job on all 4 outfits. I may have to crib you for inspiration, cool? Thanks. 🙂
OMG this are some really, really good color combinations! What a great way to wear color in the colder months … something I’m trying to really buckle down and do, myself.

Psyche, everything here looks good to go! Love all the colors. Even though it Early Fall, you found a fanastic way to work those spring colors into a Fall look!
I would love to have a skirt like this one! Oh, the things I could do!
