I arrived in Curacao last Thursday, checked into the Renaissance Resort, got fresh, and was ready to hit the town. First stop, food. Howard and I decided to have dinner at the resort’s Infinity Beach Bar & Grill. I threw on my blue pleated chiffon maxi dress because it seemed perfect for the evening, and it unpacked free of wrinkles. I didn’t know it was wrinkle-resistant when I purchased it but thank goodness it is because ironing pleats is such a chore.
Dress: Express (available in select stores)
Bag: Target One Spot
Sandals: Tory Burch (similar, option)
Earrings: Kendra Scott (new for spring)
Watch: Movado (in silver, Skagen option)
Lip: Mac “Dangerously Red” lipstick, Mac “Beet” lip pencil
Since my main travel tote was still stuffed with my travel essentials, I decided to rock my beach bag that night. Would you believe that I found this beautiful striped tote in the Target One Spot? It’s only $5 and is also available in a pink stripe and a blue stripe. This $5 bag served me well this trip.
The ambiance and view at Infinity were a perfect welcome to Curacao. We arrived just in time to watch the sunset, and I couldn’t think of a more dreamy place to do so. I was also pleased that the staff was willing to work with me to create a vegan meal. I believe I had a vegetable stir-fry over a bed of jasmine rice that night.

Vacation-ready Maxi Dresses:
That dinner sounds delicious to a non-vegan like me! I love jasmine rice. And you look gorgeous in blue!
Dynamite dress in style and color and flow! Very flattering and the bold color really pops against the bright environment like the red walls! I like the styling with the graphic bag.
Target has amazing bargain pieces; beautiful view and lovely pictures
