Spring Getaway Style: One-Piece Evening Wear

Willemstad is such a tranquil city. Even though there was some traffic from the two huge cruise ships docked while I was there, there was a stillness about the city. But, at night (on the weekend), Willemstad came alive. The bars were bustling. The casinos were packed. There was live music and dancing everywhere.

If there is live music, I’m there. So, Howard and I decided to dine outside at one of the Rif Fort restaurants since there was a band jamming right in the area.

For the occasion, I reached for a one-piece wonder, my jumpsuit by Ella Moss. I purchased it on sale in Anthropologie in the middle of winter. I just had to have it because of the bold, abstract, all-over striped print. By the way, I’m really glad I got to try on the jumpsuit in-store because I realized I needed to size up to a medium for a relaxed fit on the bottom.

I’ve relied a lot on one-piece wonders during this trip because they take the guesswork out of planning outfits. Jumpsuits, in particular, are a favorite choice because they’re modern and so effortlessly stylish. All I needed to complete my look this night were earrings, sandals, and a bag. Easy breezy.
