Last month, Kate Spade Saturday, Kate Spade’s lower-priced line, announced that it would be closing all of its stores. It was particularly disappointing since a physical store just opened in St. Louis at the Taubman Prestige Outlets. I had plans to spend a lot of time in that store.
All Saturday stores are expected to close for good during the first half of this year. So, the sales to move inventory have begun. Right now, the online store is offering 50% off items. I stopped by my local store and the sale is 75% off everything. Of course, the local store is already almost empty. I was told that a new shipment of inventory is expected this week though.
Today’s post shares a few of the things I’d like to grab on sale before Saturday is no more.
1. A Saturday dress like the Trapeze Dress in Shuffle Shape.
Funky prints. Unusual shapes. Surprise details. Saturday dresses are simply cool.
2. Saturday Jump Around Jumpsuit
The jumpsuit trend is showing that it’s here to stay. This strapless, chambray number is a no-brainer then at the current sale prices.
April showers will have nothing on you if you’re sporting this sunny yellow, water resistant coat.
4. On Purpose Jewelry like the On Purpose Beaded Bracelet
The On Purpose project by Saturday promoted economic sustainability in global communities. This particular bracelet was made by artisans in Masoro, Rwanda.
A leather tote with functional and funky side zippers at a fraction of the cost. Why wouldn’t you get one?
I’ve been eying these fresh, stripe weekender bags for a minute. They have a cool shoe compartment at the bottom. These bags, however, are made of canvas, not exactly a splurge-worthy material. At sale prices, though, the weekender bags are totally worth it.
Thanks for the heads up on this! You caught my eye with the beautiful tribal bracelet, and I ended up getting both bracelets and both necklaces. I couldn't resist their visual impact combined with the 50% off pricing. Sad that the store is closing though!
No prob, Tara! I hope you got some great stuff.
