Cool in Blue

Dusk blue, monaco blue, mykonos blue.  Blue is quite present in the 2013 Pantone color reports.

I’m fond of shades of blue, so I’ve been casually shopping for a blue dress.  The Old Navy knit tank dress in absolute blue is a great option, but I haven’t seen it in stores yet.  Have you?  The J.Crew Factory shift dress in festival blue is also great option and probably best suited for work because of its wool flannel material and pleating details.

I wanted a casual, blue dress with a clean silhouette, so the Forever 21 dress (in imperial blue) featured today was just right.  The price was right, too, at $24.80.  Surprisingly, the dress is made of a luxe-looking material that’s fully lined.  If it were just a tad longer, it would be perfect.  Anyway, here’s how I wore the dress last weekend.

Yes, the blue on you is amazing. I love the belt, it's perfect with the look and you already know that I love the pop color with that amazing clutch!
