Bold Stripes Get Checked

The Gap stripe twill zip jacket featured today was a blogger favorite from Gap’s spring 2013 collection.  I resisted purchasing it before because I own another stripe jacket.  A few weeks ago, though, when I spotted one of these jackets left in my size on a final sale clearance rack for about $20, I embraced that as a sign that I needed to own it.  The universe was speaking to me and I listened.

In today’s post, the bold stripe jacket meets an abstract check print tank for a cool print mix.  The tank is a recent clearance purchase ($13) from Banana Republic.  I haven’t been shopping BR much lately, but the recent sale on sale there was good reason to stop by.
