On Sunday evening, I attended a dinner/awards ceremony. I think the organizers of the event had trouble deciding on a dress code because they suggested that attendees wear business casual or cocktail attire. Huh? I decided to wear an outfit that was a little bit party on the bottom and business casual on the top. Here’s that look.

hahha – It's a good mix of party and business. You look absolutely wonderful!
Wow, that dress code is tricky, but I think you did a FANTASTIC job, awesome outfit!
That peplum top is great – I am on the lookout for one myself.
The blue is really striking with the skirt and jacket and I'd say you had your bases covered.
Love the lace skirt! 🙂
This is a great mix. You're giving it to 'em on both ends of the dress code spectrum. Way to make this lace skirt 'work' appropriate. Love it.

Yea, great fusion of business and casual dress. Easily convertible.
