Mix and Match to Expand Wardrobe

Don’t you just love when you stumble upon a new way to wear items that have been hiding away in your closet?

I’ve owned a black and cream textured, cowl neck, knit dress since 2009.  It’s a fabulous dress for work, but I haven’t been wearing it, and even considered donating it.  Today, I’m attempting to renew my interest in this dress by wearing it in a more interesting way.

What better way to spruce up a basic dress than adding a clashing print and splashes of color for a little edge?  By the way, the Old Navy printed pullover crew neck sweater was such amazing addition to my wardrobe.

I love this outfit! Would never have thought to do that myself but it looks fantastic!

I will keep this in mind for when it gets cooler here 🙂
