Looking Back, Looking Forward

Some classics are just keepers.  I received a beautiful, brown, corduroy, two-button blazer in 2002 as a birthday gift from a friend.  Nine years later, this blazer remains one of my favorites.  Banana Republic really knows how to make a blazer because after years of wear, this one looks as good as new, and the fit remains current.

By the way, I am wearing my free Big & Bright eyeliner from Bare Escentuals in midnight.  I received it by just stepping in a Bare Escentuals store last weekend (offer ended Nov 1).  Join me on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the know on these types of offers.

Love your whole look! This is very chic with your classic blazer, but the tights make it fun too 🙂

I have to agree with you on the brown corduroy blazer. I just picked one up at the thrift store for $8. Lucky Me.

@Style Journey: Thanks! Textured tights are so much fun to wear. I love how they subtly jazz up basic looks.

@Jenn A: Me too! I've found them easier to wear that bright colored tights. You too?

@Debbie J: $8? Say what? That is an amazing find! A treasure even!
