I’m back. I was in NYC last week hanging with my mother who was visiting from St. Kitts. We did a lot of shopping! My mother is definitely a Maxxinista, so we spent a lot of time in several TJ Maxx stores.
All of the TJ Maxx stores we visited had The Runway. I was excited, then, to explore the expanded collection of designer duds for less in these stores.
I found many items that I adored, but purchased nothing for myself. Often, things work out that way. Check out my favorite finds, though, that didn’t make it home with me because of either fit or cost.

I’m on a quest to find some jeans in color and I kept spotting this orange pair in TJ stores. It was in the juniors section. The fit was not good enough on me. |

This Leifsdottir dress caught my attention because of its clearance price of $39. I didn’t need another LBD at this time though. |

Another Leifsdottir dress on clearance, $57. The top was too large on me. |

This is a Versace dress with a TJ price of $399.99. Let’s just say, I tried this one on for fun. |

Great post! I went to a TJ Maxx with a 'Runway' section. There were so many cute finds, but like you a walked away with nothing. That black dress fits you so well and combined with the price, would be something I would have picked up.
Love the photos I haven't been to TJ Maxx for awhile, I've been finding such great deals elsewhere lately.. Loved the Versaces on you!

Where is St. Kitts? I love TJ Maxx. I often try on a whole bunch of stuff in places like that Marshall's, and Burlington and often leave with nothing! haha

Love the elie tahari. Even though you didn't end up with anything it looks like you had fun trying it all on!
@Addy: I seriously contemplated the black dress.
@LocalCeleb: Do tell! Where are you shopping lately?
@Shasie: St. Kitts in an island in the Eastern Caribbean. That's home for me.
@Lisa: Sure did!
I’m loving that colored jeans. They looked great on you.
That’s also one of my shopping tricks, a visit to Junior department!
I usually avoid TJ Maxx or Marshalls all together as I don’t trust myself. Mostly because I *always* end up buying something (even though I don’t really need them)…
