C21 Challenges the Handbag Shopping Moratorium

I imposed a handbag shopping moratorium for Fall 2011.  Imposing a ban on buying something is odd for me because as a bargain shopper, I like to always be ready to snag an amazing deal.

I’ve actually resisted several urges to buy a new handbag so far.  Well, there was one exception. I experienced a minor slip when I purchased the Missoni for Target knit clutch this month.

The urges got amplified, though, when I walked into a Century 21 store a couple days ago.

Guest writer, Camala Greene, as excited as I was about these Marc New York
top handle bags.

These B. Mankowsky bags would be perfect work bags.  They pass the MacBook-fit test.
Marc by Marc Jacobs bags at almost half off retail?

I just couldn’t resist adorning myself with the Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Natasha
crossbody bag, a favorite style of mine.
NB:  Pay no attention to the “deuces.”  The bags had me giddy 🙂

Even the luggage was demanding my attention.  Is this CK set gorgeous
or is it gorgeous?

Let me tell you.  My handbag moratorium is still in effect only because I was distracted by the massive shoe collection at Century 21.

At the end of this shopping trip, I left with some red DVF flats.  They are the red flats I’ve been hunting for and so much more stylish than I could’ve imagined.

Thank you stopping by my blog this past week and adding a comment that sparked! You were included in the weekly round-up, so when you have a minute, please do stop by and check it out!

A little embarrassed, but I have to admit I have never been to a century 21. I heard it's great and the deals are out of this world! One day very soon 🙂
