The anchor of today’s work look is one of my Labor Day weekend shopping finds, a wrap-style dress in a striking modern print from Ann Taylor. It was originally $138, but is currently on sale for $39.99 ($79.99 + 50% off). The dress with its vibrant print breathes new life into my work wardrobe filled with basic sheaths and shift dresses.
In the featured look, the dress is worn with a black, lightweight wool blazer and red peep toe pumps.

@Susan: Thanks! I've found some great blazers on clearance in stores like the Loft and the Banana Republic Factory store. I also see luxe, designer blazers in off-price stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx. My favorite lightweight wool blazer, though, is by Banana Republic (shown in this post). The best time to purchase the work separates at BR is during the after christmas sales. I got this $200 blazer for less than $40 sometime after Christmas.
