Work Dress-ing in the Winter

Today was my first teaching day of 2011 and it was so cold!  I struggled to find something to wear since my work wardrobe primarily comprises dresses.

I pulled a dress I showed earlier this week, see From the Boots Up.  To style the dress for work and the freezing temperature, I added a wool blazer, black leggings, trouser socks, and black boots.  A down coat with a faux fur hood provided the perfect topper.  By the way, this coat by MICHAEL Michael Kors was an amazing holiday find.  It was on clearance for $39 in Marshalls!
