Tank Haven

Check this. I’ve been living in Old Navy tanks all week. They make perfect sleepwear/loungewear, and if you need to go out, they are chic enough to take you there. I had to step out earlier this evening, and this was the look—a striped tank paired with dark rinse denim trousers. A brown braided leather belt and red peep-toe pumps elevate the look.

Style du Monde: Thank ya. Pieces like these can be easy to throw together.

    Amina: Aren’t they though!?!

Staying in shape. Exercise–I usually like to walk and play tennis. I must admit that this summer I have not been very physically active.

Food: I make a conscious effort to eat healthily–lots of fruits, lots of vegetables, whole grains instead of enriched flours, etc. While I opt for moderation over restriction, I’ve been a vegetarian for the last 8 years, so I don’t consume meats, and most of the time I only drink water. There is so much to tell, so we should talk by email.

Seeker: They’ll get there. I am moving in early August, so things will settle down after that.

LJ: Thanks. These tank are so easy to work with. I love when they go on sale. This one was $3.99, so I got it in three colors 🙂

Enc: Thanks. This tank came in a nice purple too.

Cheryl Lynn: A nice pump really does that.

Imelda: HA HA HA! And, I’ve since taken it down. I can’t decide on the right image.

Nikki: They are so comfortable. I got these on sale recently. It comes in some cool colors too.

Just wondering: Those are one of my favorite pairs of denim. I got them on clearance at the BR outlet for just $19.99 a few years ago.

Times of Glory: Agreed. They are so comfy. I can’t wait to play around with colors with this tank.

Secretista: Ahh…so that’s where you get those fabulous dresses.
