Summer by the Sea?

Not me. I am preparing to move to Kentucky in a few weeks. I do, however, spend part of December and January in St. Kitts. In need of a new swimsuit and in love with the retro suits of the season, I’ve been scouting a great swimsuit deal. Today’s post features chic and cheap pieces I’ve found.
1. This teal animal print swimsuit has a timeless style and cut. It has cool details like ruching at the bust and halter strings. (Old Navy $9.75)* 2. This two-piece suit has a navy hipster bikini bottom and a coordinating bikini top with navy/white print. (Gap Outlet $18) 3. This blue circle print one-piece has a halter top and a retro-inspired cut. (Old Navy $9.75)* 4. This plaid straw tote is hip and holds all the beach essentials. (Old Navy $5.99) 5. T-strap wedge sandal with a gold chain on the strap and an adjustable ankle strap. (Steve Madden via Marshalls $24.99) 6. Patent yellow sandal with oval metal buckle detail on thong. (Ann Taylor Loft $5)
*I ordered these suits online last week during what must have been a special sale, for they have been marked back up to $19.99.

I love swimming but hate swimming suits, specifically the endless search that goes into finding one that fits. You won’t find me being fashionable here, I typically swim with board shorts and a light tank over a granny-ish one piece. Sad but true.

Kentucky, huh? For work? Good luck!

    Love your photo 😀

I need a swimming suit, but I’m very demanding… I like strapless ones, because of the marks, didn’t find “the one” yet…

    Cute pieces.

Are you moving for staying in Kentucky? Work?
Good luck, all the best darling.

Hey sweetie. Good finds as usual and very cute. Love the bag and the shoes.

Kentucky, huh? Is this a permanent move for work? So exciting, I’d be happy just to move beyond my block.

Yes y’all, I am moving to Kentucky for work. We’ll see how it goes…will definitely be posting from there.

Oh Thar Girl: The granny inspired suit is hot hot hot right now. So, you better rock it!

Amina: You can rock that too!

    Style du Monde: Thanks!

Seeker: Thank ya! The thing I like about the first ON suit is that it can be worn strapless.

And, yes, I sure did change it back 🙂 I can’t decide on the image I wish to use.

Budget Babe: Thanks again! I am honored.

Danz: I was hesitant about getting the two ON suits as the colors are similar. When they arrived, I could appreciate the differences though.

Imelda Matt: I am always on the prowl. These are swimsuits that I won’t even use for another 5 months 🙂

Enc: Some places like ON never disappoint. Even the full prices on these pieces are reasonable.

Cheryl: Ha. You can come take my place 🙂 I am really excited, but just looking forward to settling.

    Diana: That’s right!

Merita. Oh yeah…you’ve got to let me know how the plans are going.
