Oldies but Goodies

Can’t let go. Do you have old items in your closet that you can never imagine parting with? Today’s look features some pieces that I have had for years and plan to have for many more. The black pencil skirt with embroidered floral detail was a hand-me-down I received in 1998. It is paired with a fuchsia tee that is belted to add some polish. Platform ankle strap sandals and a black pebbled leather duffel bag, another hand-me-down, complete the outfit.

I say, never get rid of any item of clothing, particularly if you paid a lot of money for it or if the style is timeless, like this skirt – great!

A pencil skirt is timeless, sometimes I sit on things to long only to then be forced to ditch ’em.

I agree, my basements full and I find it really hard to get rid of anything, fashion always goes in cycles.

You look great dear, so stylish, the belt gives that final touched of glamour.

This is great! I love this color tee on you.

In the past, I’d cycle things in and out constantly, but not much anymore. I have cowboy boots I’ll never get rid of. Some of my shoes and cashmere sweaters will be keepers for a lifetime.

It is hard to get rid of any cloth – One one hand, I’m thinking that they have that perfect moment waiting for you some day, nut on the other hand, I’m thinking… when…

This skirt is surely a keeper… The more you wear it, the more you will love it! Trust me! It can play up or down… with this vibrant colour T-shirt! You look sooooooooo “pick-me-up” and fresh! I love it xx

I don’t know if you know it or not, but that outfit is very reminiscent of the 1950’s “sweater girl” look. Very chic and classic. You cannot go wrong with a look like that.

    Wonderful.
