Looking for a tailored, modernized, but easy-going style this season? Add some high-waisted, wide leg pants to your wardrobe. They’re versatile and flattering on every body. Since these pants are quite popular right now, you can find a super luxe pair at every price point. My pants? They’re only $39 at Kindred stores right now.
What I’m wearing:
Off the shoulder top via Kindred | Wide leg pants via Kindred | Earrings via Kindred
As you know, Kindred is a collective boutique located in West County Center. I love that I can shop several local boutiques in one stop.
My wide leg pants are from Brooke & Sloane. I often gravitate toward Brooke & Sloane selections. These sharp and polished pants are exactly what I expect to find from them. By the way. these pants have a high, paperbag waist that cinches perfectly. The length is ideal too, allowing me to wear the pants with flats and a low heel. And, the texture? So luxe! They’re a linen blend.
So, how do you wear this must-have pant trend? Wide leg pants offer great versatility when styling. My top tip is to wear them with a top that you can tuck or is cropped and doesn’t require tucking. You want to flaunt how the pants snatches you at the smallest part of waist.
Since I’m shorter, when I wear wide-leg pants, I also like to show a bit more skin on the top. So, I pair mine with off-the-shoulder styles, tube tops, crop tops, and sleeveless styles. The beautiful polka dot top I’m wearing is from Ashley Jayne, another featured boutique at Kindred. Get this? The top is only $36.99! It comes with straps (for the cold shoulder effect), but I prefer to wear the straps tucked in.
Given the breezy vibe of this outfit, I wanted to add an earthy element to the styling. I found the coolest wood/rattan earrings, also from Ashley Jayne boutique. If you haven’t browsed the accessories at Kindred, you’ve been missing out, my friend. These earrings retail there for $20.99
Location: The Jewel Box in Forest Park, St. Louis
