Affordable Finds For All Your Summer Style Needs

This post is sponsored by Specialty Retailers, INC.

I get to spend most of my summer in St. Louis this year, and I plan to take full advantage. New-to-me restaurants. Must-see art exhibits. Outdoor concerts. I plan to take it all in. And, of course, all of these activities demand fabulous outfits. I’m excited to style my way right through summer because my go-to, off-price store–Gordmans–has been delivering on my favorite trends. I’ve told you this before. Off all comparable retailers, Gordmans always has the lowest prices.

To show you what I’m talking about, I’m sharing my most recent outfit from Gordmans. Hint: From the top to the shoes, I spent less than $75 for items that retail for over $400. Drops mic.

What I’m wearing from Gordmans:

My secret when shopping Gordmans for fashion is to head straight to the designer clothing section. It’s usually easy to spot because you’ll see a cluster of fabulous styles. I glimpsed a bunch of a statement sleeve blouses in the most beautiful colors and knew they were special. Turns out, they’re Walter Baker tops that retail for $158. In Gordmans though? Under $10!! Hmmm…why didn’t I grab two?

One of my favorite pant trends this year is cycling shorts. I think that length is so cool for styling. And, on jeans, it’s especially hip. These white Bermuda shorts (under $15) caught my eye. I envision dressing them up and dressing them down. By the way, how perfect do these shorts pair with this statement blouse?

Have you heard? Mini bags are planning to dominate handbag trends. I’m thrilled because I love a small bag. Imagine my excitement, then, when I found this BCBGeneration Raphaela Mini Bag (retail value $108) for under $20!?! Score!

I’ll be kicking it in downtown St. Louis all summer. That usually involves a bit of walking, so cool kicks are a must. These Keds are from the Keds X Rifle Paper Co. collection. I saw a couple styles in Gordmans–a lace-up pair and these slip-ons. I opted for the slip-on style because they bring something fresh to my wardrobe. These shoes retail for $65 but are only $29.99 in Gordmans.

That’s it. A little fashion mathematics for you. The tale of how I got this over–$400 outfit for under $75. The secret is always the same–shop at Gordmans.

Cute look! Few things best finding great pieces on sale! Unfortunately, they closed the Gordman’s locations in the Memphis area. 🙁
