How To Keep Your Style In “Check” On Snow Days

A winter storm dumped piles of snow on St. Louis over the weekend. It was such a serious winter storm that I got home on Friday, and I was snowed in until Sunday. By Sunday, the snowfall had slowed, the city was able to get streets cleaned, and I was ready to get back outside. The look for the occasion? A Quagga Green hooded vest in 2019’s favorite plaid trend. The vest kept my style in “check.”

What I’m Wearing:

Quagga Green vest c/o | Turtleneck | Belt | Ponte knit leggings | Rain boots (similar)

Sunglasses | Lip: Fenty Stunna lip paint (uncensored) | Nails: Essie Minimalistic

Plaid is going to be hugely popular all this year. So, when I saw this Quagga Green vest, I had to have it. Quagga Green is a sustainable line based in St. Louis. Everything in the line is made using recycled and/or renewable resources. The website officially launches in Spring 2019, but you can shop the collection at Whole Foods stores right now.

I love this vest because it’s such a cool, fashion-forward way to rock the plaid trend. And, the hood is both fashionable and functional. It was just what I needed to keep my head protected from the flurries on Sunday.

This vest has an open front with a toggle closure at the neckline. I belted mine to cinch the look together. I was only wearing a tissue turtleneck and ponte knit leggings underneath, so the vest pulled the entire look together.

Location: South Grand, St. Louis
