How to Wear Blue Satin Shoes

Before deciding to purchase any item, I like to envision wearing it several ways. I want to be sure I’ll get reasonable wear out of things, you know? I’ve been admiring the Ann Taylor Oriana satin sandals in cobalt (see them featured before here). They’re bold and blue. Two features I love. And, ultimately, that electric color and a price dip to under $45, persuaded me to get ’em.

What I’m wearing:

Top | Pants c/o (similar, similar) | Sandals (on sale) | Watch | Necklace c/o

Last weekend, I took my new shoes out for a spin. I opted to let the shoes shine by pairing them with a graphic black and white outfit.

The shoes fit true-to-size. With that said, I ordered a half size up because I often need to do that with back-out shoes. That was not necessary in this case. I’m keeping them, but I would recommend purchasing your actual size if you get them.

I’m excited to wear these sandals into early fall. I think they’d pair beautifully with all-white ensembles, serve as a complementary color pop in color blocked looks, or jazz up a pair of jeans and a white tee.

Yes, Sydney! Ann Taylor has had the best sales lately. Btw, the color in person is even more striking.
