I love how easy one statement piece can transform an entire look. Need to jazz up a basic white tank and blue jeans? Throw a vibrant print duster cardigan on top. Today, I’m starting with that same combination of jeans and a tank but transforming the look with a fabulous African print blazer.
Jacket (option, option, option) | Jeans | Tank | Pumps (old)

You won’t believe it, but this blazer was thrifted! Since I don’t always have the patience for thrifting, I look to my homegirl, Bridgett Deana, a super star thrifter here in St. Louis who does all the hard work to make the best finds from thrift stores available to us. When she posted this jacket on her Instagram page, I claimed it with a quickness. The print had me at hello. Remember my Doreen Mashika skirt in the same print (different colorway)? That skirt remains one of my favorite Anthropologie purchases.

That thrifted piece is FIRE.

I know, right, Janel! The bottom detail was like a super fabulous icing on the best tasting cake ever.
This look is so fabulous, with the pattern-mixing and HELLO peplum blazer in the most awesome print and color combo ever. In. Love.

I just saw this! The color combo is great on you. I’m traveling home within the next two weeks and can get you more of those in colorful prints if you’d like.
Thanks for all the tips you’ve been posting… Nice piece of work
