Happy first day of winter! I’m welcoming the new season in light layers because it’s only moderately cold today. Yass! I’ll be running some last-minute holiday errands throughout the day, so I wanted a look that was cozy and chic. I opted, then, for some J.Crew-style layering. And, guess what? If you’ve been eying any of these J.Crew layers, they’re so affordable right now at sale-on-sale pricing.
Stripe top | Chambray tunic | Ankle-zip leggings | Jade Coat | Suede flats
Mud cloth clutch c/o | Mac “Rebel” lipstick
The cozy stripe top has a high funnelneck which keeps your neck loosely covered. If you find turtlenecks tight, this style is a great alternative.
I layered mine over a my chambray tunic (on sale). I saw the stripe top styled similarly in a J.Crew lookbook.
Y’all know I love leggings, right? Well, I finally tried J.Crew’s ankle-zip leggings. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing fit. I assumed they would be tight and stiff, but they’re stretchy and comfy. They’re a lighter weight than I expected, but quite nice overall.
Before you get alarmed by my ankles being exposed, remember it’s fairly warm today. Lol. I would normally complete this look with ankle boots, but these suede flats are appropriate (weather-wise) today, and the pop of color was welcomed.

You look so beaut, the pop of red in contrast with the blue of the shirt and the nautical lines is stunning.
