I got really excited about prints for spring when I read Who What Wear’s article, 5 Cool Prints to Try for Spring (That Aren’t Floral) The article rounded up some of my favorite abstract, graphic, and colorful prints, from uneven dots to rainbow stripes.
What I’m wearing
Tunic: Express (sold out, similar, option)
Pants: Alythea (similar, under $20)
Bag: ℅ Chameleon Bags
Shoes: J.Crew (old, option, love these)
Earrings: Kendra Scott (new for spring)
Rings: Alexis Bittar, ℅ Collections by Joya
Necklace: ℅ Collections by Joya
Lip: Mac “Dangerously Red” lipstick, Mac “Beet” lip pencil
I purchased a pair of cuffed, striped skinnies from Ross recently. I found them on the same trip that I bought the sleeveless trench I featured in Spring Layers: Sleeveless Trench and a Tee. I bought the striped pants as an alternative to my black skinnies that I’ve been wearing quite often. I’ve been especially liking outfits that are anchored by skinny pants, so I wanted some options.
I’m wearing my striped pants with an asymmetrical black tunic (similar one on sale). To make the combination more funky, I added my mud cloth clutch from Chameleon Bags and my old favorite floral pumps (have you seen the new palm print pumps?).
I’m also wearing a few current jewelry favorites. The earrings are new ear climbers by Kendra Scott, which offer the ease of wearing studs but pack serious artistic flair. The super long pearl tassel necklace is by Collections by Joya. It’s delicate, but stands out so much with its impeccable details. Talking about Collections by Joya necklaces, have you entered to win the Collections by Joya faceted crystal necklace? Get in it to win it!
