I had my most embarrassing fall a few years ago. It was snowing outside. I was rushing to a faculty meeting. I took a shortcut through the student cafeteria. Next thing I knew, I was on the floor, and all eyes were on me. My already slippery boots, now wet from the snow, failed me miserably that day. I never wore that pair of boots again.
I was immediately intrigued, then, when I was introduced to Rhea, a footwear company specializing in non-slip shoes. Rhea shoes use a patented outsole technology to deliver the highest friction when walking. I needed a pair of these that day I fell in the middle of a cafeteria.

Rhea recently launched a small collection of booties. These leather booties are water-resistant, slip-resistant, breathable, comfortable, and gorgeous. This past weekend, it rained and even snowed in St. Louis. I figured these were the perfect conditions for taking my my Rhea “Daphne” boots for a spin. So, I did.
I got the booties in a rich shade of brown. They’re also available in black. The NeverSlip™ outsole on these booties made every step feel secure while the silhouette of the bootie made every step look stylish.
My booties were the perfect finishing touch to a look that paired a crop stripe top with a burgundy skirt.
Slip resistant? Yep that's what I need, especially when I'm teaching all day but I still want to look cute. Love how you put this look together!
