I love turtlenecks because they are so easy to wear and quite versatile. They pair well with skirts and pants and look equally well layered under dresses. Today, I’m wearing a long sleeve turtleneck top, which retails for $19, with pleated ankle pants. I’m also thinking about wearing the same turtleneck with this fringe skirt to Saint Louis Fashion Week next week.
To break up all the black, I reached for a few of my favorite standout accessories, including my Kendra Scott Kaki Baguette earrings (now on mega sale) and my Chameleon Bags mud cloth clutch.
Talking about accessories, when I unboxed the J.Crew Elsie circle lace pumps, they instantly became my favorite pair of Elsies. Just so you know, they’re on sale right now, and sale is sale on sale. The Elsie pumps are always a perfect fit for me. They’re true to size. The heel height is just right at 3 1/2 inches, not too high and not too low. The overall silhouette and vamp of the Elsie is sexy and comfortable.
yes, I love this look….I went shopping this week and I did see some turtlenecks. I'll have to get one for this season 🙂
Lovely and chic outfit and the heels are perfect!

I love how classic this look is and the pumps were a nice addition to break up the all black! Very cute! #BLMGirl
I actually love this look. For whatever reason I have an aversion to turtlenecks, but when worn appropriate (like you've shown) they are very stylish! I may just have to incorporate at least one…and black would be a great neutral color to use in so many different ways. I also love your pants (and the belt you use to break up the black on black). I have trouble finding pants to fit my well, but the cut of pants you have on is perfect! I guess I really need to devote some time into really finding a store that can accommodate my body.
