Last December, I had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with Chicago-based designer, Maryam Garba. You may remember the stunning yellow “Rose” dress I styled from her line. That dress remains one of my favorite versatile pieces. What I love about Garba’s entire collection is that it makes looking stylish easy, and more importantly, affordable.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the launch of Garba’s latest collection since getting a sneak peek of her new pieces back in early January. At first sight, I was drawn to a floral-sleeve, blue dress. It’s sophisticated, versatile, and totally my style. Imagine how surprised I was, then, to learn that the dress was inspired by and named after me. What an honor!
In today’s post, I’m wearing the Maryam Garba “Psyche” dress. It’s styled for a wintry day with tights and booties. Can you imagine all the styling possibilities for this beauty though? The color palette of the dress is right-on-trend for spring. The floral print is fresh and feminine. This dress provides the perfect backdrop for some serious mixing and matching.
Location: Shoenberg Temperate House, Missouri Botanical Garden
For reference, I’m wearing the dress in a size 4
