Last fall, the sporty chic trend made major waves, essentially changing the way we view clothing relegated to the gym or lazy Saturdays at home. Just like that, comfy sweatshirts became chic enough for the city streets. Comfy and chic? What’s not to love, right?
In today’s post, I fully embrace the sporty chic vibe. My new favorite sweatshirt finds an unlikely yet perfect partner in a vintage leather pencil skirt. To jazz the look up even more, I added a statement bib necklace featuring oversized crystals and an oh-so edgy pair of spiked ear jackets.
These earrings and this necklace will easily become my staple pieces for
adding a little bling during the holiday season.

I love this look on you!!…I've never thought about rockin' a leather skirt….but, you pull it off well!
Thanks, Jennifer. Believe it or not, I never thought about wearing any kind of leather before this skirt either. I was smitten by the leather trend last fall and it has left a lasting impression on me.
YES! This is so good. Love how you styled that sweatshirt. The mix and match of the dressy and casual is awesome. Well done!
Thanks so much as always!
Oh that leather skirt!!! Love it:)
…and would you believe it was under $10 in the thrift store, Mariel? Best thrift find ever!
Really love that lipstick on you.
Aww thanks, Sing! The Mac girls at a local counter convinced me that I needed this lip color in my life. It has grown on me 🙂
