Shine bright like a diamond! For the past few weeks, I’ve been working with Smile Brilliant, a St. Louis-based company that guarantees a beautiful new smile. Smile Brilliant offers custom-fitted teeth whitening trays, formed to fit your teeth with precision, essentially bringing the professional teeth whitening procedure offered by dentists, right into your home. Today’s post recaps my experience using the whitening trays and gives you a chance to win one for yourself. Giveaway!

The road to whiter teeth using the Smile Brilliant system involves a few easy steps. First, I received a kit to make my dental impressions at home using base and catalyst paste. This step seemed intimidating at first, but was made easy by the detailed instruction cards complete with visuals. Making my impressions took a few minutes and was fairly simple. Once my impressions were made, I mailed them back to the Smile Brilliant lab in a prepaid postage packet. Within a week, my custom-fitted trays arrived and I was ready to start whitening.

I had very white teeth before using the whitening trays. I still saw results though! I used 3 whitening gel syringes, which gave me 3 full-mouth applications each. I whitened my teeth once a day for nine days. I wore my whitening trays for about an hour each time. Trays can be worn for much longer for even better results, but I experienced some sensitivity when I wore the trays longer than an hour. Sensitivity, by the way, is normal. Smile Brilliant does offer desensitizing gels, though, for those with extremely sensitive teeth.

2. Open to entrants in and outside of the US. A non-US winner is responsible for shipping the impressions back to the Smile Brilliant lab due to differences in international postal services.
