Last Thursday could easily rank as the best night of the summer in St. Louis. Tarrus Riley, one of my favorite reggae vocalists and songwriters, performed at 2720 Cherokee. Of course, as a superfan, I’ve seen Tarrus Riley in concert before. The St. Louis leg of his Love Situation tour, though, took place at an intimate venue, bringing fans up close and personal with Tarrus.
Today’s post shares what I wore to that concert. My J.Crew cove floral top was half-tucked into a pair of distressed Old Navy Rockstar jeans for a laid-back look. A statement necklace, striped clutch, and cobalt pumps added finishing touches. At the end of the night, my silk blouse was sticking to me and the balls of my feet were on fire, but I was so happy.

That's the makings of a good concert. Feet on fire and clothes reeking of concert smell. I passed on the cove floral top, but I absolutely love it on you!
You know it, Meghan 🙂
Ironically, I loved the cove floral print, but I wasn't in love with any of the items available in the print. This top was my favorite of the options. It ended up working out well though.
What size is the top? And how does it compare to what size you normally wear in JCrew? It's on final sale and I don't want to order the wrong size. Love this look!
Hey Jessie. I did purchase my usual size in J.Crew tops. This blouse is very drapey with an oversized fit. I can sometimes size down in tops like this one; but as a pear shape, I stuck with my usual size, so the blouse wouldn't be tight around my hips. For reference, I'm wearing a size 2 here.
