Lace, Leather, and Kushyfoot Legwear

Last Saturday night, I attended a fashion show downtown.  Deciding what to wear was a challenge because it was freezing in St. Louis that night.  After much deliberation, I opted for a look I had planned to wear before I knew how cold it would be.  I figured I could make the ensemble weather appropriate by adding a puffer coat and a pair of Kushyfoot fleece tights.

I received a few Kushyfoot legwear products for review purposes and planned to formally review the products later, but the chilly weather over the weekend called for a trial by fire of the tights I received.  The Kushyfoot fleece tights promised ultra warmth, opaque coverage, and cozy comfort—just what I needed to make my look work that night.  Let me tell you, these tights delivered on every single promise.

At $8.99 a pair, the fleece lined tights are affordable too.  Just the right price for stocking up on them, right?  Since I wear skirts and dresses all winter long, Kushyfoot fleece tights are a welcomed addition to my wardrobe.

Kushyfoot also carries a pair of fleece trouser socks that I can’t wait to wear under my favorite boots.
The brand is popular for its Flats to Go product, a portable flat for emergencies.  The
fleecy leopard pair I received will be tucked in my purse and ready to save my feet
when I travel this holiday season.

Disclosure: I received samples of Kushyfoot legwear for review purposes.  All of the images, ideas, and opinions shared are my own.

Can you elaborate a bit on the tights – how thick are they? Did your legs get super warm after wearing them for a while? What is the texture of the fleece? Sorry – I'm a bit of a weirdo when it comes to cold-weather clothing; I do not like to get too warm when wearing things…but I hate giving up on dresses and skirts in the winter, so these seem like a great option!

You bet! On the outside, the tights look and feel like typical opaque tights. They are lined with a fine layer of fleece. The fleece is especially soft and smooth. I get itchy with many pairs of sweater tights, but these are perfectly smooth and non-irritating. When I put the tights on, I didn't feel much warmer than in usual tights, but once outside in the cold, I noticed a difference. It's as if the lining helped break the chilly winds and kept me warmer outside. I was at an event all night in them and the tights felt really cozy…not overly warm at all. I also hate getting too warm wearing things.

Thanks so much for following up with a question!
