The recent tropical weather in the Lou has inspired my look today. I pulled my favorite maxi dress, a dress I purchased about 3 years ago in Express, because its fresh, bluebird print is perfect for a tropical day. In today’s look, I’m wearing the dress as skirt by topping it with a light blue chambray shirt.
I’ve been casually searching for a new maxi dress this year. I’m especially fond of the Gap geo print halter maxi dress, which is now 30% off during the store’s dress sale. I’d like to wait for additional markdowns, but Gap items have been selling out quickly lately. Decisions, decisions…

I would love for you to come and link up to That's Fresh Friday!
Please reconsider shopping at the Gap (and Banana Republic and Old Navy). Gap is one of the leading US apparel companies that has refused to sign an agreement to improve factory safety in Bangladesh after the disastrous factory collapse there: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/16/business/global/abercrombie-fitch-agrees-to-bangladesh-factory-safety-plan.html?_r=0
