Spring Style on a Snow Day

Last Thursday, St. Louis was hit by the most massive snow storm to affect the area this winter.  Flights were cancelled.  Highways were stalled for hours and hours.  Luckily, many of us got stay in because most schools and businesses closed before the worst part of the storm hit around noon.

It’s still an icy, snowy mess outside.  My Cole Haan rain boots (and makeshift snow boots), though, make it so easy to stay stylish while slushing through the snow.  I’ve worn them every day since the snow storm.  They are sleek and chic, but more importantly, these boots keep my feet dry and warm.

I’ve been watching this J. Crew Jackie stripe cardigan for a while (see here).  So, I quickly bought one when J.Crew recently offered an extra 40% off sale items plus free shipping. The purple in the cardigan is much darker in person than it appeared online. I’m wearing a size S.

I bought this coat back in 2011 in a local Marshalls.  I was instantly attracted to the color, shawl collar, and wrap style silhouette of the coat.
