Looking Back, Looking Forward: Old Navy Ruffle-trim Dress

Today’s Looking Back, Looking Forward revisits my Old Navy ruffle-trim tie-belt dress.  This red dress with tan polka dots was a favorite, frugal find from the summer because of its comfy-chic look.  But, get this.  My dress shrunk after washing/drying.  Perhaps I should’ve dried it on the delicate spin cycle?  Oddly enough, I prefer the current length.

For a chilly Fall day, the dress is worn with a denim jacket, brown tights, and cognac boots.  Yesterday was so cold in the Lou that I had to wear a coat, so I reached for my purple wrap coat.

I have the same dress. I hung mine to dry and it was fine. I knew this by the way it felt after I pulled it out of the washer.

You were smarter than me, girl! I will definitely hang it to dry this time around.
