Rockabilly Wedding Style

Last Saturday, I attended the Rockabilly wedding of a friend.  I’m not usually a fan of weddings, but this friend has such a fresh retro style that I knew her wedding would be one to witness.  It was too.

I wore my J.Crew scatter dot dress because the polka dots and silhouette are totally retro.  I cinched my waist with a wide red belt and mixed in some stripes with my clutch and tights.

Striped tights

Dress—J.Crew Scatter Dot Dress (Anthro option)

Belt—The Limited

Tights—Anne Klein via DSW (similar)

Shoes—Tahari via Marshalls (similar)

Bag—Kate Spade New York ‘Ruby Street Bow Monette’ (even cheaper here)

Earrings—Kendra Scott ‘Danielle’ (slate) via Nordstrom

Watch—Michael Kors rose gold tortoise watch via Nordstrom Rack

Here’s another dress I considered wearing to the wedding.  My local store never received it though.  After a horrible experience with Anthropologie’s online ordering system, I refused to order it online.

    Looks fantastic!
Did you feel a bit off wearing white to a wedding though?
