It’s been 4 months since standing in line outside Target just to purchase a Jason Wu for Target navy poplin dress. And, guess what? I still think it was worth it for such a classic, well-fitted, and low-priced dress.
For today’s Looking Back, Looking Forward, I wanted to wear the dress in a new way. So, I layered lightly with my favorite chambray shirt.
Dress—Jason Wu for Target
Shirt—c/o jcpenney (similar)
Shoes—Tahari via Smartbargains (similar, similar)
Bag—MICHAEL Michael Kors Hamilton tote via Macy’s

Oh I just love every single way you have worn this dress! You can't go wrong!

Young lady you are a classic depiction of my girl Ebony. The girl next door, relaxed and refined. I LOVE IT!
It was worth the wait in line; it suits you extremely well. I never get to Target in time to get anything cool, and everything I want online always seems to be "unavailable" which makes me wonder why they can't just take the item down instead of teasing recessionistas unmercifully 😛 Same goes for Loft, if you guys are reading this!
I love this whole look on you! Perfect for the 4th of July coming up and your hair looks great!
