I have quite a collection of stripes in my wardrobe. So, I’ve been trying to avoid buying anything else with stripes. But, last Friday, when I spotted a navy and red, Calvin Klein dress with horizontal stripes on the bodice and vertical stripes on the skirt, I had to have it.
Once I tried the dress on, I immediately envisioned it pairing well with my ecru colored blazer with navy grosgrain ribbon detail.
For my Saturday afternoon rounds, including a mini fashion show at Macy’s, I wore the dress and blazer as seen below.

Thanks y'all!
I was glad that these stripes were red and navy because I didn't have stripes with that color combination. This information helped me justify the purchase btw.
