Stay Warm in Style on Freezing Days

It’s finally beginning to look like winter.  So, what do we wear?

I live in the Midwest and our winters are cold, but not as severe as they are up North.  During the winter months, I wear the same clothing I wear throughout the fall, but rely on layering, an extra warm coat, and other essentials (like gloves, a scarf, and a knit hat) to keep me warm and cozy.

Dressing for Work in the Winter:

Shirt—Loft, Skirt—The Limited

Tights—Cynthia Rowley via Marshalls (similar pair)

Coat—MICHAEL Michael Kors via Marshalls

This coat is so warm.

Warm weather essentials:

Scarf—The Limited; Gloves—Loft, Beanie—eBay seller

b.o.c. boots via DSW.  Insulated for added warmth

Shopping for a coat?

I purchased my MK coat in Marshalls for $39 last year.  Guess what?  Several similar styles by MK are in Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores at the same price right now.  Check them out!  I’ve been so tempted to pick up another one.

Very nice for the cold weather. Love the skirt and the blue tights. I live in the upper Midwest and that coat is exactly what I need for the super cold Minnesota days like today. Stay warm!! =D

Love how you layer so well! That scarf looks amazing too, makes me so eager to try wearing something similar myself, but it's much to hot here at the moment.
