Hey y’all! Folks in the US, did you have a good holiday?
I spent the holiday in St. Louis at home, so my outfits were super casual.
On Thanksgiving Day, I wore some ponte knit leggings, the perfect pants for overeating. To elevate my at-home chic, I paired the leggings with a satiny cobalt top and a black sequined scarf.

If I were going out, I would add a velvet blazer. |

On Friday, I decided to check out a few sales. I left home around 10:30 am and headed to the St. Louis Galleria, a local mall. For that mall run, I went with an outfit that was as comfortable as sweats, but a bit more polished—a knit pencil skirt with a cami and an open cardigan. Tights and some well broken in flats completed the look.

What are your plans today? Since today’s been declared Small Business Saturday, I plan to visit some local consignment and thrift shops. I’ll definitely be back with a report.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Hi EOS,
I love your blog (been reading it for years) and enjoy your outfits so much! One request – can you adjust your camera so that you are taking a straight-on shot? It seems that the camera is now positioned somewhere lower which has a weird effect of skewing the proportions.
Thanks!
S
Both outfits are great! Love the Juicy shoes! Gotta love Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx for always having such great shoes!
@S: Thanks for your feedback and for being a longtime reader! I've been experimenting with new positions for my camera and agree that the current positioning is not quite ideal. Please stay tuned for some changes and let me know if you see an improvement as well.
@High Heels & Good Meals: Right! I love me some off-price stores.
Love it … just as much as all shades of gray… timeless and always chic.
@Kinga: Thanks. I'm quite fond of the grays too!
