Casual Looks with Loft Lace Tee

Vintage-inspired layers of lace are all the rage this spring. Don’t you just love the lace trend?

I found myself drawn to the Loft’s lace tee (a layer of lace over a tank). The top boasts great details like a scalloped trim and floral detailing.

I hesitated to purchase the tee, though, because the color choices (black and warm neutral) were a tad drab. I favored the black tee, but its nude lining did not seem like a good match for my dark skin. On a whim, I decided to try on the tee in the warm neutral color. To my surprise, I liked it!

Here’s the top worn casually.

OMG I had tried on this same tee last week at LOFT and it looked so good on me. Unfortunately I didn't end up buying it as it was a bit outta my budget (I'm still a student). But now I know how to style it if I get my hands on one in a sale.

Thanks everyone! I am glad I tried it on because I was ready to pass on it.

@Sabera: You are right; it is a tad pricey still at 69.99. I bought mine during the friends and family sale. So, it was 30% off and an additional 30% off with the F&F coupon. I believe I spent about $30. I decided to buy at the price and moment because there were only a couple tees available in my size.

That's too bad @Katherine! I moved to purchase mine at this price point because I noticed it was selling out quickly after the first markdown. I hope you can find it at another location. Thanks for following!
