I have no clue. I have been living in leggings (like those in the last post) since the harsh, wintry weather has hit Kentucky. Admittedly, I have found it especially difficult to dress for the icy conditions over the past few days. I don’t own shoes like Wellingtons and all of my boots have heels making them a serious fall hazard.
Tomorrow, I have to give a final exam to my undergraduate students, so I will have to venture outside in the icy conditions. I know I will wear jeans. I will probably layer, wearing a long sleeve tee under a buttoned down shirt. I suppose I will have to wear some oxfords, the only flat shoes I own that cover my entire foot besides sneakers. I will surely grab my puffer coat and some gloves. That’ll have to work, right?
So, the look will be something like this.
Shirt—J Crew Factory Store
Jeans—Nine West via Marshalls
Shoes—Crown Vintage via DSW
Close-up on the oxfords:
Swooning over those laceless oxfords!
I love love the shoes.

Hey Psyche
Love your Oxford. I bought a pair of Oxford about two months ago. So in love with them. Mines have lace which I never tie :). My jeans are so long you can barely see the laces.
Are those oxfords made for icy weather?
@Sal, @Sing: Aren't they though? It was love at first sight!
@Merita: I have to see yours! I have had the hardest time finding them in KY. I finally stumbled upon a pair in DSW recently.
@Soho500: Ha. Nope. These are just the most ice-friendly shoes that I have.
