So excited. I have been working on expanding my dress collection. And, the flourishing feminine trend this fall is making it easy to do so.
Check out what I found after a few visits to The Limited over the past week.
From left to right:
- Banded Side Panel Sheath Dress—I found this dress in store on sale for $59.99 (retail price $89.90). After my educator discount of 15%, my purchase price was $51 plus tax.
- Lace Trim Dress—This dress is on sale for $59.99 (retail $89.90). After using a coupon offering $20 off $50 and my educator discount of 15%, the dress was $34 plus tax.
- Overlay Sweetheart Dress—On sale in stores for $44.99 (retail 89.90), I was able to buy this dress for $38.24 plus tax after applying my educators discount of 15%.
Update:
Here’s what The Limited says about its discount program for students and teachers.
Do you offer a discount for students or teachers?
Yes! If you’re a student or an educator, just show us your school I.D. to save 15% off every purchase you make at any The Limited store location.
educator's discount??? do tell!
Anonymous: Sure! Students and educators receive 15% off every purchase at The Limited. All you need to do is show an id.
I only found out about this policy after I overheard a cashier telling someone last weekend.
Now, I don't know if The Limited has been trying to keep this policy a secret, but I think the only mention of the program on its website is under FAQs.
They all look fabulous on you, but that last one on the right is pulling me out of lurkerdom to comment. The sweetheart neckline and dark color are just mind-blowingly gorgeous on you, and it really elongates your shape in a different way than the other dresses. It's stunning.
Kristen: Thanks! That dress stole my attention and I had to have it. I was supposed to be shopping for dresses for work, but made an exception 🙂
