Maxi Dress for Maximum Summer Style

Maximum comfort. Maximum chic. It’s no surprise that the maxi dress keeps resurfacing year after year. The chic long dress is versatile and so easy to wear.

I have been particularly fond of the maxi dresses that appear in Express. Check out the Express maxi I bought last year. This year, I immediately fell in love with this bluebird, graphic print, halter, maxi dress. And, man, I had to exercise some serious discipline to wait for a markdown on the dress. So, as soon as it got marked down by 30%, I got it.

In today’s look, I am wearing the dress with thong sandal flats. I am, of course, standing on my toes because the dress is too long for my 5’4” self. I have since had it shortened.
