Where did summer go? Anyway, this past summer the high contrast combination—black and white—has been quite popular and so attractive. Black and white always looks fresh and sophisticated though, doesn’t it?. Let’s take a look back at some of my favorite black and white looks this summer.

STATUS: RETURNED. I loved the print on this BCBG dress, but the fit was not the most flattering. So, I returned it and got the following dress from Ann Taylor (which not only fit better, but was a lot cheaper with a fantastic AT summer sale).

*This top is actually a dress that was too short for me. To salvage the eBay buy, I wear it as a top.

I love your looks- I wish you would post more often! I did really like that first dress, but if it wasn't a comfortable fit then it wasn't worth it… but as always you have impeccable taste!

Black and white is my all time favorite combination. You look pretty gorgeous in these dresses. That #1 dress from Nordstrom is my most favorite.

Nice! Smart choice to switch to Ann Taylor dress. I really like the pairing of the short dress and leggings, too. I'm waiting for cooler weather to try something like that.
