Eye-popping brights. I am mostly a neutral lover. So, it is no surprise that neon color trends scare me a little. Nevertheless, since seeing Budget Babe’s spring trend post on orange and pink, I’ve been surprisingly drawn to the color combo. Typically, I would play it safe and modestly incorporate eye-popping color by using an accessory like the pictured scarf. However, today, I felt like taking a risk.
A pink cable knit tank is layered under an orange cable knit cardigan. The tops are paired with a herringbone A-line skirt. Tan square-toe leather pumps, a tan belt, and a print scarf add final touches.
What do you think?

Who would have ‘thunk’ it??…I think its HOT!…Capis.
Just right.
Naturally, I think it’s brilliant! I especially like the shade of both the orange and the pink. The skirt, shoes and belt balance the brights just right. Definitely inspiring.
I swear I just can not stay away. I love this one too! Awesome combination!!!!!!
Just right! I have to try this combo.
Love it, love it, love it.
It’s so gorgeouse. It’s good to take some risks… I’m there 🙂

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I guess it worked out!
Anon: I know. I would not have “thunk” it either. Thanks to budget babe for opening my eyes.
Enc: Thanks for that!
Budget Babe: Your post was the inspiration. So, thank you!
Sara: Don’t fight it, just come on by 🙂 I always love when you do.
Kim: Great! You so should. I would love to see the pics too 😉
Seeker: So right about taking risks. You know, apart from playing with color, I do not usually wear belts. But, I’ve been taking notes from your belted cardigan looks.
Peace
still so cute!!!
a kiss and a hug,
you are in my links of the day!
I’d say just right. But I’m biased since I wear bright color more often:-)
Brandie: I am trying to do more like you on that one. Loving bright colors!
