Fun and flattering. Full skirts have emerged as a major spring fashion trend, and I could not be happier. They’ve always been favorites since they work well with my body type—small on top, larger on the bottom.
This look features a pleated, navy, full skirt. The skirt is paired with a yellow cardigan. Red, peep-toe pumps, and a blue multi-striped, linen scarf complete the look.

Love this outfit! It is so my style and I’m going to have to try and duplicate it.
Full skirts are so flatering (for the right body)
You look so good, and the scarf is a really nice touch.

love the outfit!!
I like the punch of color with the shoes. Do ever grow tired of compliments?…lol! And by the way I can’t stay away. I hope you don’t mind even though I haven’t made it to the gym yet (therefore not too much shopping), you can help me put together things from what already own. Thanks!!
You’ve been tagged, please see my blog for details.

Clare: Thanks for stopping by. Would you believe that I got the skirt on clearance for only 9.99? And yeah…yellow is such a go-to color now…it works so well with navy too.
Kira Fashion: The skirt is so comfortable and easy to wear. This blog has certainly given me an opportunity to trace my style, which is evolving and approaching a good fit for my lifestyle.
Anon: You should come back and share some pics! You know, I love Banana Republic, and I often visit the site to get inspiration. Today’s look is very similar to an outfit on BR’s site (with a polka dot skirt instead).
Seeker: You are so right. Full skirts also come in different cuts, which dictate who should wear a particular one and how one should be worn. This skirt has a drop waist, making it easy for me to wear the cardigan on the outside.
Saray: I appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by.
Sara: I always appreciate it! it is such a great exercise crafting new looks from your existing wardrobe. If you find inspiration here, that is wonderful! I especially love when the seasons change as the change-of-season clothing always feels new 🙂
Love the outfit.
Have a great weekend 🙂
this skirt is really beautiful!
I love it! I’ve been in love with the full skirt for years, and this is a really great way to do it. I love Navy and yellow. You look great.
Lotem: I appreciate it. Have a wonderful weekend!
Chililady: Thanks for coming by. I appreciate it!
Enc: Yes, yellow and navy is fab together. I first fell in love with full skirts when my hips started expanding, and I was having problems simultaneously fitting the waist and hips in bottoms. They were the perfect solution. Give me an A-line or full skirt any day!
Love the skirt!
I am 1m 69cm, I’ve tried to converse to feets I think it’s 5,54 ft, if so I’m just a bit taller than you.
So I’m really in trouble without knowing what to do.
I don’t know if that lengh is out.
I know that longer skirts, hippy style are going to be in.
So… I’m still in doubt.
Thanks for the nice words about my colours 🙂
Yes, despite I like black outfits, because I think they make me elegant, it’s not my everyday, so is good to be back in colour.
Peace

thanks a lot for passing by!
a kiss and a hug for you!
