Animal Instincts

So yeah. I am not a fan of animal prints. But, on a weekend trip to Marshalls, I found myself strangely drawn to these haircalf and patent leather skimmers. Immediately, I began imagining outfits that would not be complete without these shoes. So, I stepped out of my box and bought them.

Here is a casual look made very chic by the shoes.

Good choice sweetie, I love this outfit. I need more low shoes in my closet, but then I’m so short. I need a little bit of a heel if I can get it. Glad you stepped out of your box, animal prints are the hotness right now.

I have not been very successful in enjoying your blog without shopping. The animal print shoes had me running out to Marshall, a store that I think takes too much work to enjoy shopping. But anyway while I did not find Michael Kors I found a cute pair of Steve Madden and well 3 more pairs of shoes for myself, a pair for my niece and some luggage. I lost all self control, but gained some great buys. Thanks for the shopping inspiration 🙂

Anon: I’ve got to agree with you. I just cannot believe I feel that way about an animal print 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Bananzattack: I appreciate you coming by.

Enc: You should have seen me hugging that box, the one pair in my size, all around the store. I am really happy I got them.

Fdiary: Ha. Animal prints are the ‘hotness’ indeed. I am fairly short myself (5’4″), but I love flats on occasion.

Capis: Awww…you noticed. It’s been hectic over the last 2 weeks-travel, etc. I am catching up though! Thanks for checking in.

Sara: I am glad that you find inspiration here! Sounds like you made a killing at Marshalls…lol! I would love to see those shoes. And, I am always lurking around the luggage. There are some great pieces in Marshalls. I am trying to resist getting a new set until my next long-haul trip.

Bocadelobo: Thanks! Have wonderful day and weekend as well. I will surely check out your t-shirts!
