I know. This look breaks a cardinal fashion rule—“avoid horizontal stripes, for they make you look fat.” This sweater seems to be an exception though. Could it be the size of the stripes?

I always avoided horizontal stripes as well … until I picked up a cute back&white top at Target this year … it looks very similar to your top and I just love it!
